Chocolate Brown Oil-Tanned Zippered Breviary Cover
- Chocolate Brown Oil-tanned Leather
- Brown Bonded Nylon Thread
- Antique Brass Zipper
Oil tanned leather is one of our favorite leathers to work with. It is drum-dyed throughout and gains a wonderful patina over time. It is supple yet holds up to a lot of punishment. For this reason these covers are recommended for anyone who travels regularly and who would like their cover to show it’s age.
The zipper is made of brass and polyester and is the highest end zipper on the market. Our Breviary and Daily Roman Missal covers are now stitched with Z277 bonded nylon thread. This guarantees a long-lasting and durable stitch. We also use a hand powered stitching machine which allows us to produce consistent and quality products.
This cover was designed for the four volume set of the Liturgy of the Hours.
If you would like to know if it fits any other versions of the Divine Office, please let us know. If you have any questions, or would like to commission a custom Breviary cover, please contact us.
Note: Color may vary slightly as the dye absorbs differently into each hide.
**Please note: Because of the many steps it takes to make this high quality of a cover, and as this is not my full-time job, it may take up to 4 weeks to fulfill your order. If you are needing to rush an order, please contact us, and we will see what we can do.**
